ella katherine mcnamee arrives early!

baby ella decided to beat her big sister riley and come 9 days early instead of 7 days for riley. she was 8 lbs 1 oz. and 20.5 inches. mom and baby are doing well, and riley is still trying to figure out who ella is and how "baby ella" is no longer in mommy's belly!

after trying to encourage riley to help swing the baby...she kindly shared all her stuffed animals with the pretend baby doll(there isn't an actual baby under there so don't worry)

20 minutes after we put her down for a nap we heard a noise and...we found her like this! it's kind of hard not to smile when you tell her that she needs to stay in her bed during naptime!

riley at 18 months old...she's growing fast

Seeing that it had been since January since we posted last, we thought we should at least post some pictures to prove we are still here. Riley is growing fast and we are excited (I'm not sure if Riley really knows yet) about the arrival of her little sister Ella Katherine in October!
