strawberry picking in dallas, nc!
What a fun Sunday afternoon! A group of Uptowners went to pick strawberries in the bustling metropolis of Dallas, NC. There's nothing like eating a juicy red strawberry fresh off the press and warmed by the sun! Unfortunately, my back decided to be in competition with the red berries, and I received my first sunburn of 2007...guess it's time to break out the good ole spf 50.

Enjoyed looking at your pics. Nutmeg, Paul, and I had a homebody weekend. We're sitting in the kitchen working on VBS stuff. Nutmeg is under the table chewing on a cow hoof. We have started our garden, too. WE have tomatoes for the first time. I've heard we have to put chemicals on them because of all the insects and disease. We also have corn, squash, beans, okra, carrots, and watermelon. All looks good and healthy. Our sod looks good, too. I think our well must be next to running dry from all the water we've been putting on it and no rain. Have a good week and looking forward to seeing new things on your blog.
