What a sweet blessing Daniel has been to me. The Lord has provided me with a man who loves Christ above all else, loves me unconditionally and imitates Christ to those around him. He captures the beauty in simplicity and finds joy in the minute. His character helps to sanctify me. I look forward to watch how the Lord will use him through life's symphony.

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and 2008 has started out with lots of joy and sweet memories. We had a great holiday season, with spending Christmas day with the Soderbergs and New Years with the McNamees. Since Virginia had to be on call over Christmas, we spent it around Charlotte, but then headed to St. Louis, MO and Little Rock, AR to bring in the New Year. We went to a really cool museum in St. Louis called The City Museum (pictures above), which is basically a big playground for adults. We also laughed, relaxed, visited friends and family and ate lots. We can't wait to do it all again next year! PS: We promise to post more entries soon!
